Job summary

GRW Talent Limited in Scotland is seeking an Electronics & Firmware Engineer to join a small, close-knit team in Uddingston. The role covers hardware and firmware across full product life cycles, from concept to production, with opportunities to grow to senior technical positions.

Design analogue, digital and mixed-signal circuits around PIC, STM32, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi; capture schematics in Altium or EasyPC; write C firmware; bring up prototypes and support certification and production.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics or embedded firmware design.
• Analogue, digital and mixed-signal circuit design skills.
• Embedded C firmware development.
• Prototype test and debugging.
• EMC and safety certification experience.
• Good communication with customers.
• Degree in Electronics or Embedded Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design analogue, digital and mixed-signal circuits around microcontrollers such as PIC, STM32, ESP32 and Raspberry Pi
• Capture schematics (Altium Designer or EasyPC) and support PCB layout and design reviews
• Writing, testing and debugging embedded firmware in C
• Bringing up, testing and fault-finding prototype systems
• Supporting products through EMC and safety certification and into production
• Producing clear design records, test procedures and technical documentation
• Working directly with customers and suppliers
