Job summary

Crowcon Detection Instruments Ltd. in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, is seeking an Electronics Field Service Engineer to maintain, repair and commission gas detection equipment across the South East. Full product training is provided, and you will work within the Field Service Team.

The role requires a UK driving license, strong customer communication, and experience in electronic equipment service. You’ll travel to customer sites, calibrate and test gear, document work, and support field operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic equipment service, troubleshoot/repair.
• Confined Space, IPAF and Safety Passport is preferable, but full training provided.
• Full UK driving license essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, calibrating and repairing electronic gas detection equipment to the relevant standards.
• Provide customer 'user training' when required - once experienced.
• Cover a geographical area based within the South East (required) and other areas to cover 2-man jobs.
• Ensure service reports are completed accurately and submit them for processing on time.
