Our client is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Electronics Engineering Manager to oversee and optimise technical and operational functions, ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers across various disciplines/teams, including mechanical, electrical, software, and process engineering. Push and guide a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Production Coordination: Oversee day-to-day production engineering activities, including documentation, and process improvement. Act as the central point of coordination between engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and other key departments.
  • Project Management: Plan and manage engineering projects with a focus on meeting deadlines, maintaining quality, and ensuring reliability. Monitor project progress, ensure thorough testing at every stage, and address issues proactively.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimisation and implement solutions that enhance productivity, documentation accuracy, and cost-efficiency. Drive initiatives to improve product quality, reliability, and consistency.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical expertise and support across all disciplines within the team. Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations, company standards, and robust documentation practices.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field).
  • Proven experience in a technical operations or production environment, with a track record of leadership and process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving, testing, and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (preferred).
  • Commitment to quality, efficiency, and robust documentation practices.
