Job Description
This role will be responsible for leading the next phase of product development and will oversee the design and development of new product features. Key Responsibilities include:
- Design and validate embedded systems based on ARM architectures, running RTOS.
- Develop motor control modules to drive precision mechanical systems.
- Design various power supply systems, including DC/DC, AC/DC, with low and high-power capabilities.
- Take new products through full regulatory compliance certifications, debug, and update designs to meet emission standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Use CAD tools to capture schematics, layout PCBs, and prepare full design documentation for manufacturing.
- Maintain existing designs, debug, and resolve issues reported from the field.
- Collaborate with third-party suppliers on specialized designs when schedules or resources do not permit in-house development.
Required Skills and Education:
- 2+ years of experience in PCB design.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or HCN/HND with relevant experience.
- Experience in electrical hardware design.
- Experience in introducing products into manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working within processes in highly regulated environments is beneficial.
- Hands-on experience in debugging and bringing up new designs.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams is beneficial.
- Familiarity with mainstream CAD tools like Altium, Cadence, or Orcad.
- Knowledge of various power supply topologies, microcontrollers, and analog and digital concepts.
