Job Description

This role will be responsible for leading the next phase of product development and will oversee the design and development of new product features. Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Design and validate embedded systems based on ARM architectures, running RTOS.
  2. Develop motor control modules to drive precision mechanical systems.
  3. Design various power supply systems, including DC/DC, AC/DC, with low and high-power capabilities.
  4. Take new products through full regulatory compliance certifications, debug, and update designs to meet emission standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
  5. Use CAD tools to capture schematics, layout PCBs, and prepare full design documentation for manufacturing.
  6. Maintain existing designs, debug, and resolve issues reported from the field.
  7. Collaborate with third-party suppliers on specialized designs when schedules or resources do not permit in-house development.

Required Skills and Education:

  • 2+ years of experience in PCB design.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or HCN/HND with relevant experience.
  • Experience in electrical hardware design.
  • Experience in introducing products into manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working within processes in highly regulated environments is beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience in debugging and bringing up new designs.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with mainstream CAD tools like Altium, Cadence, or Orcad.
  • Knowledge of various power supply topologies, microcontrollers, and analog and digital concepts.
