Job summary

Leonardo offers a 4.5 year Electronics Engineering Degree Apprenticeship with the first 2 years rotating through Electronics disciplines, then a final placement in a specialist team. You will attend university with day and block releases to complete the Embedded Electronics & Systems Design Apprenticeship (ST0151) leading to a BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Salary starts at £23,500 and placements on site help you integrate with your team and learn through hands-on projects.

Qualifications

• 120 UCAS Points at A'Level to include Maths and Physics, BTEC Extended Diploma or equivalent and 5 GCSE grades 4 - 9 or grades A*- C or equivalent - Mandatory: English, Maths and Science Plus 2 subjects
• Security clearance and vetting checks required (BPSS) with potential NSV/NSV-related conditions and UK government guidance
• National Security Vetting (NSV) requirements: five years UK residence; DV clearance considerations; additional vetting may apply

Responsibilities

• Grow your knowledge of an engineering business and understand the role of an Electronics Engineer within Integrated Project Teams.
• Develop practical engineering skills and knowledge of key processes and technologies.
• Support early careers activities and STEM outreach initiatives in schools, colleges and universities.
