Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Electronics Engineer for a Dundee-based R&D role in a smart building technology business. You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with senior staff on cutting-edge electronics projects.

You’ll lead research, component selection, theoretical modelling, and proof-of-concept builds, with emphasis on PCB schematic design, prototyping, DFM/EA, and BOM cost optimisation.

In this role you will be responsible for research and development, component selection, theoretical modelling, proof of concept builds, PCB schematic design, prototyping debugging, DFM/EA, functional testing, cost optimisation and BOM including alternative pin compatible options. This role would suit an Electronics Engineer that loves using "out the box" thinking to solve some of the industries most complex and technical challenges.
