Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer (R&D) in Crowborough to design, test and develop alarm systems for commercial and residential properties worldwide. You will design and test electronics using Altium and write test software/firmware with on-the-job training.

The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours, offering a salary of £40,000–£45,000 plus bonus, 5% pension, private health, and 31 days’ holiday, plus clear routes to senior

Are you an Electronics Design Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge technology, within a globally recognised business where you can truly make an impact developing products which help save lives?

In this role you will be designing and testing a broad range of alarm systems for use in commercial and residential properties globally. You will be working on a range of projects, testing equipment and bespoke products, plus writing test software and firmware, with ongoing shadowing given.

This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer looking to progress into a research & development role, with plenty of career paths for the future.

The Role:

• Working on a variety of projects, designing test equipment and bespoke products
• Writing test software and firmware, electronic design using Altium, with training given
• Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week, flexible times between 7:30am - 5pm
