Overview

Electronics Engineer - Programme Manager - Medical Devices - Cambridge

Due to growth, a new Programme Manager with an Electronics Engineering background is sought to lead several projects in Cambridge. Some projects involve mentoring junior staff, while others require hands-on electronics design work.

Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple electro‑mechanical medical device projects, from concept through delivery.
  • Provide mentorship and hands-on electronics design on selected projects.
  • Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders and communicate updates and project changes frequently.
Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience developing new medical devices as an Electronics Engineer, with work on electro‑mechanical medical devices (e.g., implantable devices, wearables, or similar technologies) compliant with EN60601 standards.
  • Relevant degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field; a Master’s or PhD is advantageous but not essential; active industry experience is prioritized.
  • Strong understanding of EN60601 and ISO 13485 requirements.
  • Experience mentoring staff and coordinating programs with effective communication of updates and project changes.
