Job summary
Collins Aerospace in Plymouth seeks an Electronics Engineer with strong analogue and digital design and failure analysis experience for on-site work five days a week.
You will support production, investigate faults in delivered products, coordinate with design teams, and drive continuous improvement across inertial and navigation systems. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and delivering technical reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent and relevant industry experience.
- Experience in low-level analogue and digital electronic design in regulated industry.
- Experience of product assembly methods and product test processes.
- Knowledge of structured problem-solving techniques.
- Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Good report writing and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct root cause investigations into production issues and customer returns.
- Identify and implement corrective actions with design teams.
- Support production operations and quality improvements.
- Maintain technical integrity of production output across lines.
- Attend customer meetings and write summary reports.
