Job summary

Tracerco Limited in Billingham (Belasis) is seeking an Electronics Engineer to design, develop and support analogue and digital instrumentation across the product lifecycle. You will work on hardware and firmware, from concept to manufacture and field support, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, regulatory-compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience designing analogue and digital electronic systems including schematic capture and PCB layout and routing.
• Experience with 32-bit MCUs (e.g., ARM Cortex‑M), low-power peripherals and power management.
• Embedded firmware development and peripheral interfacing (ADC) with SPI/I2C/UART.
• Knowledge of lifecycle management and design for manufacture.
• Awareness of EMC Directive and industry standards.
• Strong analogue/digital circuit design and verification skills.
• Understanding of reliability engineering and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate analogue signal conditioning and digital electronic instrumentation for precision measurement and control applications.
• Write, debug and maintain low-level embedded firmware for 32-bit microcontrollers.
• Support products throughout the full lifecycle, driving continuous improvement and problem-solving.
