Job description

Job Title: Electronics Engineer (PCB Design)

(12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: Hitchin

Hybrid Working: 2-3 days on-site per week, depending on workload

The Role:

This 12-month fixed-term contract offers the chance to work with technical experts in developing advanced electronic design and manufacturing capabilities. You'll contribute across the full product lifecycle, from initial concept to full production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and evaluation of new processes and equipment in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including international travel when needed

• Analyze materials and processes related to PCB fabrication and circuit card assembly for high-reliability environments

• Conduct laboratory-based assessments and engage with PCB suppliers and manufacturing teams

• Assist in documenting standards and methodologies to ensure consistent practices across teams

• Participate in failure analysis of assemblies at both component and board levels
