Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks an Electronics Engineer to specify, develop, and commission electronic hardware for automated test equipment and related automation projects.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production test electronics, manage supplier sourcing, and contribute to NPI transitions with R&D, Production and Quality teams. Strong PCB design and data acquisition experience are essential.

Qualifications

• HNC, HND, or degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an electronic engineering role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proven analogue and digital circuit design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with KiCad for PCB design, schematic capture, layout, Gerber generation, and BOMs.
• Working knowledge of GitHub, GitLab or equivalent version control systems.
• Knowledge of data acquisition hardware such as LabJack; familiarity with LabVIEW is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Specify, develop, source, and commission electronic hardware for new ATE and automation projects.
• Provide maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and technical support for ATE systems and manufacturing equipment.
• Own the lifecycle of production test electronics, including fault diagnosis, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair.
• Design and develop electronic solutions to support business and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support to customers integrating DD Scientific gas sensors into their instruments and systems.
• Support NPI activities, collaborating with R&D, Production, and Quality teams.
