Exciting Opportunity for an Electronics Engineer - Calibration and Maintenance

Rate: £26.04PH or £35PH via an Umbrella company

Location: Bolton

Duration: 12 months

This dynamic Electronics Engineer role at a leading UK defence company could be the perfect next step in your career.

About The Role

This Electronics Engineer position offers an excellent opportunity to join the Calibration and Maintenance team. Responsibilities include servicing Electrical and Electronic Test Equipment, fault finding, repair, routine calibrations, and commissioning of test equipment. You will support complex test platforms used in the manufacture and testing of advanced missile systems, working with technologies from DC to Microwave.

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum HNC/HND in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • Experience in calibration of test equipment and maintenance of test systems to component level
  • Ability to interpret instructions, handbooks, drawings, or specifications for technical guidance
  • Good understanding of calibration principles and processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, adaptable to different audiences

Experience with Environmental Chambers is advantageous.
