Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking an Electronics Engineer in Portchester, Hampshire. The role offers up to £40,000 and a 8:30am–5:00pm Mon–Thu, with a shorter Fri schedule.

You will work on advanced electronic systems, automated test equipment and sensor technologies across product development and manufacturing support. Key duties include designing hardware, commissioning systems, and providing technical support to customers.

Qualifications

• HNC, HND or Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Around 5 years' experience in electronics engineering.
• Strong analogue and digital circuit design and fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and commission electronic hardware for automated test equipment and automation projects.
• Support and maintain manufacturing equipment and production test systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair and calibrate electronics systems.
• Design analogue and digital circuits and PCB layouts.
• Support New Product Introduction with R&D, Quality and Production teams.
