Job summary

Blighter Surveillance Systems Ltd. is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our team, focusing on complex analogue and digital designs and occasional support to our Microwave RF design team for radar systems.

You will develop advanced electronic circuits and systems used in our radar products and the testing facilities required to validate them. Based in Great Chesterford, the role offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office and the option to work remotely part of the week.

• Develop complex analogue and digital designs for electronic systems.
• Provide occasional support to the Microwave RF design team.
• Develop and test electronic circuits and associated test facilities for radar products.

Job description

We are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our team, working on complex analogue and digital designs, with occasional support to our Microwave RF design team.

You will be developing some of the advanced electronic circuits or electronic systems inside our new radar and/or the facilities necessary to test and design prove it.

Blighter Surveillance Systems Ltd. designs and sells electronic-scanning ground radar systems for national border security, counter-drone, perimeter security and coastline security. Our radars have a reputation for performance and reliability, protecting lives and critical assets worldwide. As an SME, we are able to develop and adapt our designs quickly in response to user requirements. Based in Great Chesterford just south of Cambridge, we are easy to reach by car and only two minutes’ walk from the nearest rail station.

We operate hybrid working with 3 days in the office, though we welcome those who prefer to work in the office full time.
