What will you be doing?

Are you ready to design the future of electronic warfare systems? Join ALTEN Ltd, a global engineering consultancy and work on advanced projects in the defence and aerospace sectors. We're seeking an experienced Electronic Systems Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge weapon locating systems. This is your chance to work on projects that integrate hardware, software, and firmware into highly sophisticated solutions.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  1. Develop and validate hardware designs, including PCB layouts, ensuring compliance with defence industry standards;
  2. Integrate hardware, software, and firmware, ensuring seamless system functionality for electronic warfare applications;
  3. Conduct EMC design and testing to meet industry and regulatory specifications;
  4. Contribute to the prototyping and testing of advanced electronics in collaboration with the wider engineering team.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

  1. 5+ years of experience in electronic engineering;
  2. Proven expertise in PCB design and hardware development;
  3. Experience in EMC design and compliance testing;
  4. Strong understanding of microprocessor architecture and hardware-software integration;
  5. Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field;
  6. SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain SC Clearance is mandatory.
