Job summary

Platform Recruitment is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join a specialist engineering and manufacturing business in Maidenhead, UK. You will work on analogue and digital electronics, PCB design, fault finding, and sustaining engineering across product lifecycles.

Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply chain teams, you will drive reliability improvements, support engineering changes, and manage obsolescence and component lifecycle issues while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in analogue and digital electronics, PCB design and fault finding.
• Experience with component lifecycle management and obsolescence.
• Knowledge of CE, UL, IPC standards and lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.

I’m recruiting for an Electronics Engineer to join a specialist engineering and manufacturing business producing high-quality electronic products for technical and healthcare-related applications.

This role is ideal for an Electronics Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in analogue and digital electronics, PCB design, fault finding, product support, and sustaining engineering.

The Role

You’ll support existing electronic products throughout their lifecycle, helping to improve reliability, resolve technical issues, manage component obsolescence, and support engineering changes.

You’ll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams in a varied, hands‑on role.

Key Skills

• Analogue and digital electronics experience
• PCB design and schematic capture
• Circuit testing, troubleshooting, and fault finding
• Root cause analysis and failure investigation
• Component lifecycle and obsolescence management
• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
• Knowledge of CE, UL, IPC, or similar standards would be beneficial
