The Role

My client are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team, focusing on the design and development of electronic circuits and systems for new products. You'll work across the full development cycle - schematics, PCB layout, compliance testing, documentation, and product support.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop PCBs for products like DALI drivers, BLE modules, PoE devices, sensors, and control units

Select components and ensure designs meet standards (EMC, LVD)

Organise prototypes and manage lab/test inventory

Support in-house and field testing, diagnostics, and RMA evaluations

Create and maintain schematics, layouts, BOMs, test documentation, and production files

Train internal teams and provide technical support

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (consultants, manufacturers)

What You’ll Need

Degree, HND, or equivalent in Electronic Engineering

Experience with PCB design, circuit development, and fault finding

Familiarity with EMC, LVD, and BLE or embedded systems

Strong documentation and communication skills

Organised, detail-focused, and team-oriented

Reports To: Product & Operations Director

Stakeholders: Engineers, product team, OEM clients, suppliers, consultants
