Job summary

Rise Search Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to tackle varied, hands-on challenges beyond routine PCB layouts. You will own schematic capture, component selection, analogue and digital circuit design, and reverse engineering of legacy equipment in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Salary ranges from £35,000 to £43,000, DOE. This full-time, permanent role includes 33 days holiday (Bank Holidays) and a Nest pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level electronics education or equivalent.
• Hands-on PCB design and component selection experience.
• Strong analogue and digital electronics knowledge.
• Willingness to learn across varied projects.

Responsibilities

• PCB layout, schematic capture and component selection across varied design projects.
• Identify suitable replacement components for technical fit, availability and lifecycle.
• Support analogue and digital circuit design and system-level integration.
• Assist with technical feasibility work and reverse engineering of legacy equipment.
• Prototype bring-up, testing, debugging and fault finding.
• Maintain BOMs, design records and supporting engineering documentation.
