Job summary

A rapidly growing leading developer of optical sensing technologies is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer. Joining a multidisciplinary team, your main responsibility will be to support the design, development and testing of electronics, hardware and PCBs for optoelectronic systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years post-graduation commercial experience in Electrical Design, including PCB Design and Embedded Systems.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems concepts and PCB design tools.
• UK resident eligible to work without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test electronics, hardware and PCBs for optoelectronic systems.
• Bench testing, fault finding and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies in the lab.
• Collaborate with optical, mechanical and software engineers for system integration.
• Occasionally reverse engineer third‑party electronic items.
