We are looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our client's team on a contract basis.

Duration: 12-month contract

Due to the nature of this role, you must hold active SC clearance or be eligible to obtain it.

You will be responsible for developing cutting-edge electronic solutions for defence systems. Your role will entail responsibility for the quality and performance of the electronic solution, along with providing cost and schedule updates to a project manager.

You should have a proven track record in electronic design throughout the product life cycle, from concept to production. The technical solutions you implement will span Power and Analogue Electronics at both sub-system and board levels.

This role requires liaising with other domains such as Software, Firmware, Mechanical, Environmental, EMC, etc., to ensure your designs meet all requirements. You will be key to delivering world-class missile solutions to our customers.

Skillset/experience required:

• Ideally, degree qualified with significant post-qualification experience in electronic design, development, and delivery.
• Ability to lead significant electronic design work packages and experience working within a multidisciplinary team, understanding associated challenges.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and knowledge of a wide range of electronic technologies and products.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders across the business.
