Job description

Are you an Electronics Hardware Engineer looking for a new challenge where you can work on innovative and exciting projects within a creative company who are leading technological advancements in their sector?

My client is looking to expand their team and are offering this exciting challenge where every day will bring interesting challenges including;

  • PCB design and layouts (both analogue and digital circuits)
  • EMC pre-compliance and testing
  • All and any documentations as needed to support development and testing
  • CAD & 3D Printing
  • Coding (C and Python ideally)
  • Electronics technical support, both internal and external eg customer and supplier liaison
  • Problem solving engineering challenges
  • Working to resolve issues within cross functional teams

You are likely to have degree qualified (or equivalent) with some relevant design experience, solid electronics understanding and be looking for a role that will offer challenge and variety within a friendly, supportive and innovative engineering company. You may have some experience or a special interest in sensor technology, drone technology, autonomous systems or radar based technology and be keen to further develop your electronics experience.

Great communication and interpersonal skills are a must as well as a positive approach and good problem solving skills.

This role is easily commutable from Cambridge, Newmarket, Ely, Huntingdon, Peterborough, Haverhill, Saffron Walden, Royston, St Neots, Bedford, Stevenage, Wellingborough, Bishops Stortford and many more locations within Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk and Bedfordshire.

This role may interest you if you have worked previously as an Electronics Engineer, Graduate Electronics Engineer, Electronics Hardware Engineer, Hardware Engineer, PCB Engineer, Applications Hardware Engineer or similar.
