Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited are recruiting for two Assembly Operatives to join a well-established electronics manufacturing company based in Chatham, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has excellent attention to detail, good manual dexterity and enjoys practical, hands-on work. Location: Chatham, Kent.

Pay rate £12.71 per hour, Hours: 39 per week. Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm & Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm.

Qualifications

• Very good eyesight is essential due to the detailed nature of the work.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Able to work carefully and accurately.
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
• Any previous soldering experience would be highly beneficial, but is not essential.
• Working with PCB assemblies advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operating crimping machines.
• Gluing and assembling small components.
• Screwing and fitting components together.
• Carrying out detailed bench assembly work.
• Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy throughout the production process.
