Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an Electronics Application Engineer for a long-term contract position in the UK. Job description

Electronics Application Engineer

Our client is currently looking for an Electronics Application Engineer, the role will either be based in the North East or in the Warrington area. The role will be a long-term contracting position with a rate that is commensurate with your experience.

The role is working with Space communication, Earth Observation and Fusion Energy, You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that develops electronic systems with and for the clients in house Semiconductor ICs which will enable the end client to build high end systems that perform under extreme conditions.

The client is looking for someone who can translate system level needs into reliable, testable and maintainable electronics and also define and implement applications using analogue, digital and mixed signal electronics.

Our client is looking for candidates that have experience of electronic system design with integration being desirable but not essential. Candidates will need knowledge of in programming languages such as C, Python, VHDL/Verilog and also have experience with design tools such as LTSpice, Altium designer or similar The client is also looking for candidates with basic knowledge of lab equipment as well as the ability to work across multidiscipline (Software and Hardware).
