Job description

Electronic Test Technician

Location: North Greenwich

Position: Ongoing contract

Salary: £14.15 per hour

We are recruiting an Electronic Test Technician to work for a global telecommunications company specializing in subsea telecommunications equipment and fibre optic technology. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your engineering career.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Investigating and repairing customer returns and supporting manufacturing investigations.
  2. Assisting the repair centre coordinator with writing root cause reports.
  3. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing.
  4. Providing feedback on field failures to onsite RDI teams.

Qualifications and experience:

  1. HND/Degree in Electronics or a related discipline.
  2. Ability to repair from system to component level, with knowledge of engineering drawings.
  3. Experience in analysis, especially in troubleshooting HV circuits, is beneficial.
  4. Soldering training and experience with National Instruments software are advantageous.

This role is based near North Greenwich station in South East London, with an immediate start available.
