Role Overview Electronic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Technician to join our clients Workshop team based in Horsham. This role involves hands–on technical work, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision in electronic testing, repair, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities Electronic Technician

• Apply practical electronic skills to perform testing, repair, and maintenance tasks.
• Demonstrate awareness of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols to ensure component safety.
• Utilize test equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power supply units (PSUs).
• Document all processes accurately in line with our quality accreditation standards.
• Read and interpret electronic diagrams effectively.
• Conduct General and PCC (Printed Circuit Card) testing and repair.
• Perform basic fault finding to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Execute soldering tasks to a high standard.

Key Experience & Qualifications Electronic Technician

• Proven experience in electronic testing, repair, or a similar technical role.
• Proficiency in using test equipment, including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and PSUs.
• Strong understanding of electronic diagrams and schematics.
• Familiarity with ESD practices and procedures.
• Competence in soldering techniques.
• Experience in documenting processes within a quality management system.
• Ability to perform basic fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high–quality standards.
