Qualifications

• HND Marine Engineering or HND Electrical Engineering / NVQ Level 3 in Merchant Vessel Engineering or equivalent.
• GMDSS Radio Maintenance Certificate required.
• Electronic Navigation Equipment Maintenance Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for on-board maintenance of electrical systems and electronic equipment.
• Assist in safe and efficient management of the plant considering vessel operations and environmental impact.

As the Electro Technical Officer you will be responsible for all aspects of on-board maintenance of electrical systems and electronic and navigational equipment, ensuring all repairs and servicing is carried out to the highest standards. Additionally, you will assist the Technical Team in ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective management of the plant, taking into account vessel operations and environmental impact.

Qualifications and Skills

• HND Marine Engineering or HND Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronic Engineering / NVQ Level 3 in Merchant Vessel Engineering or equivalent level
