Job summary

Comxps Ltd is seeking an Electronic Systems & Sensors Engineer (15569) in Bristol. The role requires attendance in the office 2-3 times per week with some off-site travel. Salary is to be confirmed on application for a government contract.

The post is contracted through a government client with an ASAP start and SC clearance. Candidates should have STEM qualifications at Level 4 (RQF) or higher and be professionally registered in EngTech/RSciTech/MarTech/RITTech/ICTTech, or hold Level 6 in STEM.

Qualifications

• Hold an STEM qualification at RQF Level 4.
• Experience providing technical advice and delivery of electronic systems and sensors.
• Experience in technical electronic systems or mechatronics in various contexts.
• Be registered with EngTech, RSciTech, MarTech, RITTech, or ICTTech; or hold Level 6 in STEM.

Location: Bristol - Attendance in the office 2-3 times per week is anticipated. Some travel off-site may be required.

Essential Experience/Skills Requirement

• Hold a Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics based qualification at RQF Level 4; and
• Have experience of providing technical advice and delivery of successful electronic systems and sensors or mechatronic engineering outcomes; and
• Have technical electronic systems and sensors or mechatronic experience in in a variety of contexts; and
• With a relevant Professional body/institution related to your discipline, be professionally registered* as either:
• Engineering Technician (EngTech) or
• Registered Science Technician (RSciTech) or
• Marine Technician (MarTech) or
• Registered IT Technician (RITTech) or
• ICT Technician (ICTTech)
• *Alternatively, if professionalisation registration is not held, you must hold a minimum RQF Level 6 in a Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics based discipline.
