Job description

Electronic Production Technician

Our client, a leading provider of high-quality sonar technology solutions, is currently seeking an Electronic Production Technician to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position, based in Great Yarmouth. Working 5 days a week, your day starts at 08:30 with flexible working hours for the remainder of the day.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • At least 3 years’ experience building electronic assemblies
  • Be able to solder and be confident with crimping techniques
  • Be aware of ESD precautions and knowledge of HV dangers
  • Be able to follow engineering drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high quality products
  • Good level of computer literacy and use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to continue to learn and develop
  • Excellent team player
  • Problem solver with a positive attitude.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture of wiring assemblies, sub-assemblies and final products
  • Inspection of assemblies manufactured by other members of Production
  • Inspection of supplier’s parts
  • Packing goods for dispatch
  • Ensure Health & Safety requirements are observed
