Job description

Our client offers our diverse range of clients a full breadth of products; by partnering with leading and specialized global manufacturers, they offer high-quality electronics for navigation, communications, and safety & security applications. They are looking for Marine Service Engineers to join their team.


Responsibilities
  1. Testing, adjusting, and troubleshooting components.
  2. Loading, updating, and modifying software.
  3. Utilize knowledge of electronic theory and circuitry to address a variety of technical problems.
  4. Make use of complex schematics, blueprints, and manuals to accurately achieve assignments and upon completion, will compose a detailed service report.

Qualifications
  1. Candidates must be qualified to carry out radio surveys and APTs on a range of VDRs.
  2. A University degree in engineering or equivalent technical certifications.
  3. 3+ Years of Marine Service Engineer experience in the commercial shipping industry.
  4. Strong knowledge of electronics theory and application.
  5. GMDSS Radio Operator Maintainer License preferred.
  6. Be physically fit. Work environment often involves carrying 2-3 St., climbing ladders and masts, and exposure to weather.
  7. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
