Job summary

Metropolitan Gaming is seeking an Electronic Gaming Host to maintain the efficiency and security of the Electronic Dept. You will greet guests, assist with machine operation, and monitor compliance with gambling regulations.

You’ll work nights, weekends and shifts in a 24/7 trading environment, ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining safety and confidence in our gaming floors.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Inspect gaming electronic units for tampering, repairs and maintenance.
• Greet and engage guests in the electronic gaming area with friendly, professional service.
• Assist guests with machine operation, game selection, ticketing and payouts.
• Monitor gaming areas to ensure compliance with gambling regulations and venue policies.
• Promote Metropolitan Loyalty programme and encourage guest enrolment.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, complaints and technical issues, escalating as needed.
• Maintain records of guest interactions, promotions and payouts.
• Support events, tournaments and activities on the gaming floor.
• Ensure machines and areas are clean and operational.
• Stay updated on current games and venue promotions to provide informed assistance.
• Collaborate with technical and security teams to report issues.
• Follow all gaming regulations and safer gaming procedures.
• Report any security concerns and suspicious activity as per AML training.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an Electronic Gaming Host to maintain overall efficiency and operation of the Electronic Dept, maintaining the highest standard of efficiency and security in accordance with the policies and procedures of the company.

Main Responsibilities

• Make regular Inspections for Tampering, Repairs and Maintenance of all Gaming Electronic Units
• Greet and engage guests in the electronic gaming area, providing friendly and professional service.
• Assist guests with machine operation, game selection, ticketing, and payouts as needed.
• Monitor gaming areas to ensure compliance with gambling regulations, venue policies, and safer gaming standards.
• Promote Metropolitan Loyalty programme and encourage guest enrolment and participation.
• Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, and technical issues promptly, escalating to supervisors or technicians when required.
• Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, promotions, and payouts.
• Support promotional events, tournaments, and special activities on the gaming floor.
• Ensure all machines and areas are clean and operational
• Stay up to date on current games, features, and venue promotions to provide informed assistance to guests.
• Collaborate with the technical and security teams to report malfunctions or suspicious activity.
• Follow all gaming regulations, casino policies, and safer gaming procedures.
• Immediately report any concerns regarding the security of the games
• Report all incidents regarded as suspicious as defined by the AML training
• Carry out maintenance of gaming machines/equipment.

Please Note: You must be aged 18 or above and have the right to work in the UK

This position requires working nights, evenings, weekends and shifts that coincide with a 24/7 trading week so individuals should be flexible in their scheduling.

Electronic Gaming hosts will spend a large portion of their shift on their feet working directly with the public.
