This is a phenomenal opportunity to play a fundamental role in certifying our missile sub-systems for production by leading their mechanical, climatic and EMC qualification trials.
Salary: Circa £55,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Typically 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
This pivotal role ensures that electronic and electro-mechanical sub-systems in the development phase are rigorously tested and verified against required environmental conditions. You will be responsible for translating verification plans and requirements into structured trial instructions, overseeing test execution and delivering high-quality trial reports to support critical certification activities-all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
As part of our Proving Engineering team, you'll work closely with sub-system and test equipment design teams as well as EMC, mechanical, and climatic testing experts. You will bring qualification campaigns from paper to reality, ensuring rigorous and reliable testing at our Stevenage and Bristol facilities.
