Electronics Engineer (Design) - Southport - GBP30,000 - GBP40,000

The Role

A leading engineering supplier and manufacturer within the Railway industry is looking to expand their Engineering team by hiring an Electronics Engineer.

In this role, you will gain exposure to the full PDLC, supporting the design of new products and maintenance of existing safety-critical products in rail.

The Opportunity

Your designs are built and manufactured onsite, allowing you to see your work come to life and impact the UK rail industry.

As the role develops, you will have the chance to lead cradle-to-grave projects.

The company is open to upskilling and training electronic engineering professionals from backgrounds other than design.

Suitable backgrounds include:

• Experience in electronic PCB design roles
• Electronic test engineering experience
• Electronic engineering degree with a strong understanding of engineering design principles

Essential Criteria

• PCB design experience or testing background on electronic products
• Strong understanding of electronic engineering principles, including symbols and abbreviations
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++
