MintNeuro is an innovative startup at the dynamic intersection of neurotechnology and semiconductors. We are pioneering integrated circuit solutions for implantable medical devices targeting the management and treatment of neurological conditions. Our goal is to deliver scalable, less invasive, and highly efficient devices that transform neurological care.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Electronics Engineer to support our post-silicon ASIC bring-up, including PCB and embedded system design, circuit characterization and tuning, electronic testing, and data analysis. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on exciting projects while building foundational skills in electronics design and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ASIC Testing & Validation: Work closely with the design team to understand chip design requirements, formulate detailed test plans, perform ASIC verification and characterization (clock frequency, data throughput, power, thermal profiling, noise measurement, stability testing, statistical testing), select appropriate test instruments, debug issues using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, and compile comprehensive test reports.
2. PCB & Embedded System Design: Design PCBs for ASIC verification, develop and optimize test platforms and rigs, assist software and hardware teams in developing compatible tools and systems, and automate test setups to improve measurement accuracy and efficiency.
3. Performance Optimization & Integration: Collaborate to optimize the chip’s operating environment, power, and temperature, assist in developing ASIC datasheets and manuals, participate in team meetings, and support end-to-end chip development with cross-functional teams.

Experience and Skills:

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field, or a Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or above) with 3+ years industry experience in ASIC validation.
• Experience in ASIC testing, validation, PCB design (EDA tools), microcontroller and FPGA programming, and electronic lab equipment.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Python for automation.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of neural interfaces, bioelectronic circuits, safety-critical circuit design, and relevant standards (ISO 13485, FDA).
