Job summary

Wave Recruitment is seeking an electronics design engineer to own end-to-end development for a growing range of wearable products. You will handle schematic capture, PCB layout and firmware, from prototyping to validation, reporting to the Head of Technology.

The role requires hands-on design experience, embedded firmware in C/C++, and familiarity with BLE/USB communications. You will evaluate new technologies and support products already in the field as they expand.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as an electronics design engineer, ideally in commercial product development.
• Embedded firmware experience in C and C++.
• Digital circuit design including schematic capture, circuit analysis and PCB layout.
• Experience with wireless or digital comms protocols such as BLE and USB.
• Strong problem-solving skills paired with practical prototyping and validation ability.
• Understanding of the product development lifecycle.

Role Overview
