Job summary

A leading scientific instrumentation manufacturer in Crewe is seeking an experienced Electronic Engineer to develop electronics for complex scientific instruments. The ideal candidate will hold an Electronics Engineering degree and have extensive experience with digital and analogue circuit design, as well as high-voltage systems. The role includes collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely product delivery.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold an Electronics Engineering degree.
• Experience in both digital and analogue circuit design is essential.
• Familiarity with high-voltage, low noise systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop electronics for complex scientific instruments.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electronic Engineer to join a world-renowned scientific instrument manufacturer.

Focusing on high-tech, cutting-edge electro-mechanical instrumentation, your primary responsibility will be developing electronics for complex scientific instruments. You will need to communicate effectively across a multidisciplinary team to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget. You will contribute to project proposals, design & validate hardware solutions in addition to supporting complex manufacturing and after-sales issues.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Electronics Engineering degree
• Extensive electronic design experience including both digital & analogue circuit design - FPGA, microcontrollers and associated firmware
• Experience of high-voltage, low noise systems
• Proven experience of working on design/development projects
