Job description

Electronic Hardware Engineer

West Midlands

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (DOE)

An industry leading Electronics manufacturer is looking for an Electronics Hardware Engineer to join their rapidly growing R&D team developing products for a large variety of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop analogue and digital electronic circuit schematic designs and then lead the PCB design.
  2. Provide technical design to manage projects with junior engineers.
  3. Develop architectural designs, including both hardware and software.
  4. Develop specifications and test documents for electronic and electromechanical products.
  5. Improve existing products with clients' parameters and develop new products.

Qualifications:
  1. 1st or 2:1 bachelor's degree level in Electrical and/or Electronics engineering.
  2. 5 years of experience working in an electronic hardware environment.
  3. Strong analogue and digital signal circuit design.
  4. PCB Design and layout (e.g. Altium).
  5. EMC Design and validation.
  6. Experience with prototyping and laboratory test equipment.

Nice to have:
  1. Experience in FPGA Design.
  2. Embedded C, C++.
