Senior Electronics Engineer
Plymouth
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

A global electronics manufacturer is looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their rapidly growing R&D team, developing products for a multitude of industries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of engineers within analogue, digital, and PCB design, and assist junior engineers and apprentices.
2. Take the lead in planning and developing new electronic designs.
3. Fault-finding and diagnosis of PCBAs to component level.
4. Design electrical and electronic schematics for products.
5. Work across the full product lifecycle from idea and concept to detailed design, from concept through to delivery.
6. Collaborate with multiple teams on a technical level to ensure development and improvements.
7. Combine hands-on work with technical expertise to ensure successful development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering.
• Industrial experience in electronics/electrical design & development.
• Good analogue/digital/mixed-signal circuit design skills.
• PCB Design and layout experience (e.g., Altium, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Experience with APM or Prince2 for leading projects.
• EMC Design and validation experience.
• Experience with prototyping and laboratory test equipment.
