The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Electronic Engineering, be proficient in Altium software, and have experience with circuit design. Qualifications

• Educated to Degree level in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience of using Altium software or similar.
• Previous experience with electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Proficient with analogue and digital circuit design.
• Experience designing mixed technology multi-layer PCBs.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design new product development and through life-cycle support of circuits.

• Perform detailed electronic circuit design and testing.

Electronic Design Engineer

Electronic Design Engineer required by leading engineering company, based in North Somerset The successful Electronic Design Engineer will be responsible for new product design and improvement of existing designs

Main Duties - Electronic Design Engineer

• Design, new product development and through life-cycle support of digital and analogue circuits.
• Liaising with customers to understand requirements and integrating these into designs.
• Following company design processes from schematics to approvals and product delivery.
• Attending design reviews and presenting proposals and solutions.
• Carrying out detailed electronic circuit design and testing.
• Selection of electronic components, considering factors such as obsolescence.
• Preparation of manufacturing packs for designs.
• Writing specifications and reports.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Electronic Design Engineer.

• Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience of using Altium software or similar.
• Previous experience of working with electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Proficient with analogue and digital circuit design.
• Experience of designing mixed technology multi layer PCBs.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
