Job description

Job Description: Electronic assembler

Location: Hitchin

Duration: Permanent

Hours: Mon- Fri days 37.5 hours (Flexible)

Hourly Rate: £12.50-13.50 per hour

Benefits: 22 days holiday + BHS + Company pension + Private health cover

This would be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced assembler, who is looking to work as part of our friendly production team in a small family company.

The role requires extremely high attention to detail, manual dexterity, excellent eyesight and the ability to handle small electronic components. Experience with hand soldering would also be preferred but is not essential.

This is a full-time position, with contracted 37.5 hours per week, which can be worked on a pre-agreed flexi-time basis.

Role:
  1. Assembly and testing to an agreed quality.
  2. Packing of finished products.
  3. General housekeeping of workspace.
  4. Routine internal training will be provided.
  5. Attention to detail.
  6. Manual dexterity, ability to handle small electronic components.
  7. Hand soldering is preferred but not essential.
  8. Extreme good focus.
