Electronic Assembler

Location: Yate

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £13.00 - £15.00 per hour

Working Hours: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday

Contract Type: TEMP to PERM

Hours per week: 37.5

End Date: February 22

ESS Employment is seeking an enthusiastic electronic assembler to work for our client, an innovative UK engineering and technology company. The ideal candidate will have experience wiring and assembling electronic components and testing electronic assemblies at the hardware level.

Responsibilities
  1. Make cable and wiring connections accurately.
  2. Install and assemble electronic systems based on technical specifications.
  3. Maintain documentation of system installation and maintenance procedures.
  4. Perform system testing to evaluate performance and functionality.
  5. Repair and maintain electronic systems as needed.
  6. Recommend upgrades and modifications to improve system performance.
  7. Interpret drawings, technical manuals, and instructions for installation activities.
  8. Conduct quality inspections.
Personal Profile
  • Experience in electro-mechanical assembly/disassembly (3+ years).
  • Competent in hand soldering and PCB rework.
  • Familiar with wiring and mechanical diagrams.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully.
  • Enquiring mind with good attention to detail.
