Job description

Electronic Assembler

Our client, a leading supplier of products for the telecommunications market, is seeking an Electronic Assembler to join their workshop team located in Wymondham. This is initially a temporary position, with a strong likelihood to go permanent for the right candidate.

The role of the Electronic Assembler is to process stocks of mobile phone accessories, parts, and other consumer electronics. The process includes but is not limited to sorting, grading, testing, packing, and listing products for sale.

Skills & Experience:
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good team player
  • Computer literate, especially using Excel
  • Ability to learn product knowledge
  • Accuracy in work
Main Responsibilities:
  • To carry out the main processing function of products
  • Carry out quality control checks
  • When required, make packing lists
  • Carry out instructions given by the Supervisor
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues and managers
  • Contribute to a professional working environment
  • Be supportive to colleagues
  • Follow and understand company policies
  • Meet the company production targets and standards
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Packages, especially Excel
Warehouse Duties:
  • Forklift license an advantage but not essential as training would be provided, conversion course to a Flexi truck provided
  • Able to work on own at various times
  • Picking and packing orders to a high accurate standard
  • Physically fit as some heavy lifting will be required
  • Understanding of Office 365 (emails, Excel, etc.)
