As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for engineering related to the manufacturing process, discussing the implications of product and process changes within your team.

The successful candidate should expect to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused production environment, providing quick and effective solutions to daily production issues.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting major programs from development to production, including process planning, change management, and continuous improvement.
• Understanding sensor performance to meet various requirements and interpreting data to enhance product performance.
• Liaising with internal departments and occasionally with customers and suppliers.
• Contributing to product modifications to ensure efficient manufacturing and assembly.
• Providing solutions to production issues to meet cost, quality, and time targets.
• Leading process planning, equipment, tooling, and productivity efforts.
• Creating documentation and instructions for production.
• Leading and owning manufacturing engineering work streams and projects.
• Motivating teams to achieve manufacturing and business milestones.

Fuel your passion

To succeed, you should have:

• HNC/HND or equivalent in electrical/electronic or manufacturing engineering.
• Recent experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a similar industry with complex electronic assemblies.
• Experience in engineering processes and tooling capabilities.
• Strong assembly techniques and attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing engineering documents, drawings, and assemblies.
• Knowledge of MRP systems and SAP is advantageous.
• Experience in process improvement and automation.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies and tools.
• Ability to convert technical data into work instructions and narratives.
