Salary: circa GBP35,000
Job Location: Milton Keynes, 100% site based
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday

Responsibilities of the Electromechanical Workshop Engineer
- Service, maintain and customise food manufacturing machinery.
- Work to set checklists to prepare machines before sale.
- Perform service and/or maintenance on industrial machines.
- Build control panels from scratch.
- Fault finding on electrical systems.
- Design small-scale electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Stripping down existing machinery and carrying out repairs.
- Programming drives with pre-programmed manufacturer software and settings.
Requirements for a successful Electromechanical Workshop Engineer
- NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Electro-Mechanical Engineering experience ideally within a workshop environment.
- Experience working with 3-phase electrical systems is essential.
- COSHH awareness.
- A forklift licence would be advantageous.
- Solidworks, AutoCAD or relevant drawing software experience.
- Hands-on approach with experience with working with pneumatics.
- Rockwell, Alan Bradley and Omron software experience desirable.
