The role includes:

  • Building and assembling bespoke mechanical and electrical/electronic systems and components.
  • Following work instructions, electrical and engineering schematics and drawings.
  • Performing fault finding and implementing solutions on various systems and assemblies.
  • Assisting in machinery calibration before testing.
  • Implementing continuous improvement activities to maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborating with cross-departmental teams on engineering projects (R&D, Production Engineering, Planning).

About you:

  • Experience in high-value engineering or production environments.
  • Strong skills in reading mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical fields are preferred.
  • Proven track record of assembling complex mechanical and electrical products.
  • PLC fault finding and programming skills are advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience with programming robotic equipment is desirable.
