Job summary

Crealy Theme Park & Resort is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our expanding team. You will maintain and test electromechanical equipment across rides, attractions and buildings, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role requires a practical, safety-conscious approach and a full driving licence. Working hours are 42.5 per week, five days, with 1 in 3 weekends; the season runs March–November but open year-round.

Qualifications

• Maintenance of mechanical rides and electromechanical equipment.
• Ensure safety and reliability of rides and attractions.
• Coordinate health & safety procedures and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Follow an established maintenance programme to minimise downtime.
• Maintain mechanical rides (Go-Karts, rides listed) and related equipment.
• Inspect and prevent safety hazards across rides and attractions.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures.
• Coordinate ADIPS certification and update risk assessments.
