Job summary

Owen Daniels are supporting a leading engineering company and we are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Fitter to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business. You will work on day shifts in Aberdeen, assembling and maintaining rotating equipment and motors used in hazardous environments.

The role requires electrical engineering qualifications and a background in electro-mechanical work with rotating equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with electro-mechanical work and rotating equipment.
• Strong fault-finding abilities and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel for site-based and offshore work when required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble low and high voltage rotating equipment.
• Inspect, service and repair motors used in hazardous environments.
• Identify damage and wear on AC/DC motors and similar machinery.
• Ensure work meets quality and technical standards for each job.
• Complete paperwork daily and weekly accurately.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + Benefits + Overtime

Electro-Mechanical Fitter – Key responsibilities:

• Assembling and taking apart low and high voltage rotating equipment
• Experienced in inspecting, servicing, and repairing motors used in hazardous environments
• Identify damage and wear on AC/DC motors and similar machinery
• Ensure work meets quality and technical standards required for each job
• Complete paperwork daily and weekly correctly

Electro-Mechanical Fitter - Essential Skills & Experience:

• Qualified in Electrical Engineering, with City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeship or similar
• Background in electro-mechanical work and with rotating equipment
• Skilled in fault finding and strong attention to detail
• Flexible to travel for site-based and offshore work when required
