Job summary

Metrea in the United Kingdom seeks a highly capable ML/Data Scientist to join DESLAB. You will apply ML, data science, and advanced analytical techniques to complex electromagnetic challenges, designing, testing, and deploying ML-enabled capabilities in real-world settings.

You will translate operational needs into technical solutions, mentor teammates, and help build robust, scalable workflows using MLOps and cloud practices in a fast-paced mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Post-doctoral or Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Experience with ML, RF, and electromagnetic problem sets.
• Ability to design rigorous experiments and translate findings into recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Translate operational requirements into technical solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Apply ML and RF-aware analytics to spectrum, emitter detection, and anomaly tasks.
• Explore modern approaches for electromagnetic sensing and exploitation.
• Design experiments, develop proof-of-concept capabilities, and support deployment.
• Build scalable analytical workflows with MLOps and cloud practices.
• Mentor junior team members and communicate complex concepts clearly.
