Job description

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Our client, is seeking a dynamic and skilled Electro Mechanical Workshop Supervisor to join their team in Stafford. What You'll Do:
As the Electro Mechanical Workshop Supervisor, you will be at the heart of their operations, ensuring that their monitoring systems and instruments are maintained at the highest standard.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing & Repairs: Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of high-quality equipment, both in the workshop and occasionally on customer sites.
  • Product Expertise: Work with renowned brands such as Fuji and Buhler to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Installation & Commissioning: Collaborate with service engineers to support the installation and commissioning of systems on-site.
  • Workload Management: organise and manage the daily and weekly workloads of the workshop team, balancing resources, maintaining stock control of consumables, and providing regular updates to management.

Who You Are:
We're looking for someone who is not just skilled but also possesses a proactive approach and a strong customer focus. Here's what you bring to the table:


Education & Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (A -C or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science.
  • Formal qualification in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
  • 18th Edition electrical qualification (advantageous).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory engineering role, ideally within electro-mechanical service/repair.
  • Proven ability to liaise effectively with management and diagnose complex product faults.
  • Familiarity with working independently on customer sites.

  • Strong reporting abilities, completing documents accurately and on time.
