Qualifications

• Erfahrung in der Elektromechanik und Testverfahren.
• Kenntnisse in der Norm BS EN 50123 und/oder BS EN IEC 61439.

Responsibilities

• Testen und Dokumentation von Komponenten bis hin zu kompletten Panel-Suiten.
• Umfassende Tests aller AC/DC-Schaltgeräteprodukte vor dem Versand.
• Entwicklung von Testverfahren für neue Geräte.

Skills

Erfahrung im Bereich Schienenverkehr

Level 2/3 in einem elektrischen Fachgebiet oder gleichwertig

18. Ausgabe Zertifizierung

Kenntnisse von BS EN 50123 und/oder BS EN IEC 61439

Erfahrung mit dreiphasigen elektrischen Systemen

Fähigkeit in der Leistungshäufigkeitstestung und Isolationswiderstandstestung

PLC Erfahrung

Education

Level 2/3 in einem elektrischen Fachgebiet oder gleichwertig

Roc Search's Client has an opening for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Test Engineer to join their team in Hove. Our Client is a specialized engineering company who design, manufacture and maintain critical electrical infrastructure. Their facility in Hove manufactures and tests DC and AC switchgear in-house, therefore this role will be factory based however requiring some and international travel when required.

This salary for this role is £40,000 - £44,000 DOE.

Please note that the client is unable to provide vis sponsorship at this time or in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Testing and documentation from individual components to complete panel suites.




• Comprehensive testing on all AC/DC switchgear products before dispatch for compliance, system flexibility and reliability.




• Test emergency power-off systems and safety-critical components.




• Validate PLC based control systems.




• Performance testing on bespoke enclosure solutions.




• Verify requirements with technical specifications and industry standards.




• Ensure proper cable entry configurations for top, bottom and side installations.




• Develop Test procedures for new equipment and modifications to existing equipment.




• Conduct development and type testing for new equipment and modifications.

Key Skills

• Experience in Rail preferable.




• Level 2/3 in an electrical discipline or equivalent.




• 18th Edition certification.




• Knowledge of BS EN 50123 and/or BS EN IEC 61439




• Experience with three-phase electrical systems.




• Proficiency in power frequency testing and insulation resistance testing.




• PLC experience.
